A rug woven out of jar lids. A tribute to the ancient Anatolian rugs. A contemporary version with daily discarded materials.
With inspiration from them, a new weaving technique and a custom tool are designed specifically for this purpose.
Pattern is formed by placing the lids back and front. So there are two different designs on one kilim, it's a two-sided kilim that can be hung as a seperator.
